Mammoth's Rest- Concept art hacks L.S. Class
FINAL Homework 4.10: reworked the clouds to add more form and come back to my original composition idea. I warmed the cloud colors as well after looking at some sky reference. Added a creaming crow in the foreground to help with composition.
homework 1:thumbnail phase. my theme was: Snow and bones, as if climate change has melted the permafrost and revealed massive skull of prehistoric beastsé
Homework 2: B&W painting of selected thumbnail. Chosen for it's graphic impact.
Homework 3: B&W 3d sketch. Made the skull in VR and setup the scene in Blender.

Homework 4: color start. Changed my setting from overcast to sunset, the lighting scheme became a challenge, as well as the foreground, storywise I wasn't feeling the Mechawalker anymore.
Homework 4.3: changed the foreground for a full natural setting, wildlife in the wild. But still had issues with it
homework 4.6: took out the bisons and went all in with the birds. Tweeking the lighting, maybe going a bit too overboard.
Homework 4.7: color variation to try to get the right mood: warm but still winter-like.
This majestic creature once roamed the frozen tundra, dominating the landscape where no creature could harm him. But death did come and layed wasted to the world it knew. But nature never forgot that era and , even now, the sun kisses the gigantic mammoth's head while the current wildlife reclaims the bones.
Done during the class of Learned Squared from SWANG, concept art hacks. A very good learning experience and amazing techniques, I am happy with my new pipeline thanks to this class and teacher!
